Asus launches the World’s first ‘liquid cooled’ laptop in India

Asus has launched the World’s first ‘liquid cooled’ laptop in India. The ROG GX700 is a flagship top-of-the-line laptop with a detachable Hydro Overclocking System cooling system. It’s powered by the 6th generation Intel Mobile K-SKU processor and the high-end NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card.

The ROG GX700 is gaming laptop, which comes under the company’s Republic of Gamers (ROG) lineup of laptops.

16GB of DDR4 RAM is built into the laptop, it can be expanded to 64GB (at a higher cost, of course). The display is 17 inches with 4K Ultra HD (2160p) resolution. It comes packed in an exclusive ROG themed briefcase.

Some other key features:

  • The CPU can be overclocked upto 48%, 64GB DDR4 memory can be overclocked upto 43%
  • The 4K Ultra HD display comes with G-SYNC for high quality visuals
  • The liquid-cooling dock, which is based on a custom self-sealing valve design, a quiet and highly reliable pump, and dual 92mm radiators capable of dissipating over 500W of heat

If you loved the specs and the sheer gaming power of the laptop, the price will still surprise you. The Asus ROG GX700 will be available only on request at a price of Rs 4,12,990 in India.
