Asus has launched their new smartphone the “Asus Zenfone 3s Max”. The smartphone features a big 5000 mAh battery and runs on the latest Android Nougat 7.0. The phone is priced at Rs 14999 and will be available in Stores as well as e-commerce websites.
Asus had earlier launched the Zenfone 3 Max in two variants the 5.5 inch screen version priced at Rs 17999 and 5.2 inch version priced at Rs 12999. However the phones were a bit overpriced for the specifications. Let’s see how this turns out to be.
At the hardware end, Asus Zenfone 3s Max comes in metal – unibody with dual speakers at the bottom and 2.5 D curved glass at the front. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor that is embedded inside the home button.
It sports a 5.2 inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The processor includes Mediatek 6750 octacore processor Clocked at 1.5 Ghz additionally to that the Mali-T860MP2 GPU for gaming. It also runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s Zen UI.
On the storage front the phone is packed with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with expandable storage upto 2TB. It is a hybrid type sim slot which means you can either insert both the sims together or a sim and Micro SD card.

Overall the specifications looks good with the price point of view, But with the phones like Redmi note 4 with 4GB priced at Rs 13000 and Honor 6X with dual camera priced at Rs 13000, can it beat the competition ?
